Trunk Shows

Well I had my first 2 trunk shows this week, and they went well! I feel like I'm getting the hang of putting on the actual shows, and I'm looking forward to the next few! It's really just been fun for my social life :)

Here are a few favorites that people bought:

I am feeling really motivated now that I've seen how these shows can go, and now that they're coming quickly! Can't wait to see where this goes!

Blog Lovin'

A couple of my friends told me about a website called Blog Lovin', and I've realized how convenient it really is! You add websites of the blogs you follow, and it pulls all new updates together onto one clean page! Here is what it looks like:

I love it! It makes it that much easier to keep up with my favorite blogs so I don't have to check each one to see if there is something new.

Ahh convenience...

Boots

I officially love these boots...

Stella & Dot

Another piece of my life that has my heart is my Stella & Dot Boutique. They have fantastic and really affordable jewelry that you should all take a look at! Here's a sneak peak:

Besides the jewelry, the business model is inspiring. They have made it so easy for the "everyday woman" to awaken the entrepreneur in herself that she never knew was there. It's of huge benefit to me because it is the most flexible business I could have ever asked for. I have my first trunk shows this week, and I can't wait to see how they go!
If this really hits home with you, please let me know, and I would love to tell you about my experience with the business so far.

A Little Glimpse

Now that I'm putting myself out there, I might as well tell a little part what I do. I work part time at a PR agency called See.Spark.Go. Great name, right?

Our main focus is media relations, and we have proven to our clients that it's much needed and makes a difference! Our newest client is an Atlanta-based school funding company called Booster. They are incredible!! They offer a school funding strategy through the promotion of fitness, leadership, and character. This extraordinary team asks students to get pledges for each lap they run in the Boosterthon Fun Run, which is held at the end of their 2-week program. This unique strategy not only cuts out product sales, but it promotes fitness, which is quickly declining in the U.S.
The key to Booster is their corporate culture of building themselves from the inside out. If they do not have balanced, grounded character themselves, they cannot make nearly the impact they do on a daily basis. From the corporate office to the experience leaders, the focus is leadership development. From there, they will change the world one child and one leader at a time.

Did I mention that my husband, Daniel, is a Booster guy? Maybe that's why I'm so fired up about them ;)

Blog World

I've been thinking about blogging for a while, but never acted on it. With the rise of social media, I figured it was time to jump in.

I'm mostly excited to have a way to get my thoughts and findings on paper (or I guess on screen), so here we go! I'm a one day at a time kind of person, so I'm not really sure where this is going to take me, but I can't wait to see. I really love networking and think it has proven to be really important in life, so let this be another bridge along that path.
